GOLDEN JEWELRY STORE

FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Using the plan provided, students will design a brick and mortar retail space within a mall leasehold space. Only the retail floor space will be designed. Within the design, students must include the following elements: include a cash wrap (3’W min), must be ADA compliant and comply with IBC Building codes Link to ADA, provide well-designed circulation, the entire store must reinforce the brand identity.

LIMITATIONS: Perimeter walls and structural support systems must remain as shown on plan. Door locations may be revised within the zone marked. Ceiling heights are 12’AFF and students should consider the inclusion of HVAC and lighting within the ceiling space.

PRODUCT LINE REQUIREMENTS: Create an environment that allows for customer experience of the brand, including the visual language of the store. Brand concepts include being natural, sustainable, and low impact, & retro and/or industrial.
